Candidate nominations may be either through self-nomination or through recommendation.

In order to find the most eligible candidates, a stringent nomination and selection process has been established:

A call for candidate nomination is published in Spring, by invitation and via our website. Nomination form
The deadline for submissions is June 27, 2008. Please send nominations to lise.moeller@imd.ch
The submissions are evaluated using an in-depth examination to match each candidate with the qualifying criteria
Each candidate is informed about evaluation progress
Qualifying candidates are contacted for interviews and complementary information not publicly available
The three highest qualifying candidates are submitted to the selection committee for final selection
The winner will be announced at the Family Business Network Summit 2008 in New Delhi, India
